THE ELEVEN ELEVEN WAY™
A practical coaching methodology for meaningful change.
The Eleven Eleven Way™ helps you understand where you are, clarify what matters, see your circumstances more fully, expand what may be possible, choose intentionally, move forward, learn from what happens, and recognize the capacity you are building.
It is not a rigid sequence. Career, leadership, and life change rarely unfold in straight lines. You may move forward, return to an earlier question, discover new information, and choose again.
THE SIX MOVEMENTS
A responsive journey, not a prescribed sequence.
See More Clearly
Begin with what brought you here
Start with the challenge, desire, decision, ambition, transition, or question that brought you to seek coaching now. We explore what is happening and why it matters at this point in your life.
Clarify what matters and define success
Identify what matters most, what you genuinely want the work to help make possible, and how meaningful progress will be recognized.
See the whole picture
Consider the values, relationships, responsibilities, priorities, environment, resources, stakeholders, tradeoffs, and wider life context surrounding the change.
Choose and Learn
Expand possibility and choose intentionally
Look beyond the first choices you perceived, question assumed limitations, explore additional pathways, and choose a direction you understand and own.
Move, learn, and keep choosing
Translate insight into meaningful action, learn from what happens, and continue choosing as new information, challenges, and possibilities emerge.
Carry Growth Forward
Recognize your growth and carry it forward
See the growth you created, understand the capabilities you used or developed, gather what served you, and determine how you want to continue.
The client creates the movement. The coach helps create the conditions in which movement becomes possible.
PRINCIPLES THAT SHAPE THE WORK
Space for what is true, useful, and possible.
Awareness can come before clarity
You may recognize that something has changed before knowing exactly what it means. Awareness creates room for curiosity, reflection, and a more intentional response.
A path can teach without becoming a permanent direction
An experience can produce useful information, capability, confidence, or clarity even when you decide not to continue on the same path.
Where you are is where we begin
You do not need a cleaner story, a perfect plan, or certainty before starting. We begin with what is true now.
People choose from what they can see
We make decisions from what we understand, what we believe is possible, and the resources and support available to us at the time. New understanding may reveal choices we could not see before.
Difficulty can contain information
Resistance, tension, noncompletion, or an unexpected result may reveal something worth understanding. Difficulty is not automatically proof of failure or a reason to keep pushing.
A next step can be enough
A responsible next movement may be partial, experimental, quiet, or still unfolding. Meaningful progress does not always arrive as a dramatic leap.
NOTICE, NOT WATCH. LIVE, NOT WAIT.
Awareness without pressure.
An Eleven Eleven moment is a point of recognition that something may deserve reflection, exploration, or an intentional response. These moments are not happening all the time, and noticing does not require constant alertness.
You can notice a thought, feeling, pattern, possibility, or change and later decide that it does not require action. The purpose is awareness without hypervigilance, certainty, or pressure to find meaning in every experience.
A THOUGHTFUL PARTNERSHIP
You remain the author.
What you Bring
Your experience, values, circumstances, aspirations, and desired future.
What I bring
Presence, listening, inquiry, reflection, challenge, candor, care, and responsibility for the integrity of the coaching.
I will not decide what your life means, prescribe the correct future, or create transformation on your behalf. You remain responsible for your choices and outcomes. I remain responsible for the quality, ethics, boundaries, and care of the coaching relationship.
